What Are Mutations?
A mutation is a rare blend outcome where your finished snow cone sells for several times its normal price. The game description from Steel Sharpens Steel confirms mutations push flavor value "way up" when stacked correctly with totems and Perfect blends.
Mutations appear tied to specific blend conditions — particular flavor choices, timing windows, or combinations during the pour phase. They are partially random: even optimal setups do not guarantee a mutation every blend, which makes hunting them a core late-game activity.
How Mutations Trigger
